Medicon Bridge is a networking platform within LTH Engineering Health devoted to creating, simplifying, and facilitating collaboration between hospital care, academy, and corporations in order to provide patients with the benefits of novel medical technology. The activities include arranging meetings and participating in national networks. Medicon Bridge was a regional node in the strategic innovation program Medtech4Health MT4H 2026-2018.

Activities

This is a local medtech conference held since 2014 that runs bi-annually with three sessions; Clinical, Technical, and Corporate. Venue: Main Lund hospital auditorium.

An event in two parts, aiming to bring innovators closer to market. In the first, established entrepreneurs present their corporate journey. In the second part, innovators pitch their ideas to a panel of experts in financing, regulatory, patenting etc.

Lunch seminars are arranged ad hoc. Future topics may be a funding applications theme.

Medicon Bridge was during some years ago a node in the national program MedTech4Health. We continue to aim for cooperation in local, regional, and national programs.
