Ultrasound

Since the pioneering work of Hellmuth Hertz and Inge Edler, our research groups have carried out research in ultrasound, with applications in medicine and biology.

Today we focus on Arterial wall motion, Biosonar, Diagnosis of Hirschsprung’s disease, Magnetomotive ultrasound imaging, Photoacoustic imaging, and Plaque characterization.
